Impact this Summer 2017
It feels good to be admired and look good. Be assured that you came to good hands, professional hands trained not only here in Peru but also abroad. Dr. Walter Rodríguez attends the most important events of Aesthetic Surgery in the world. He recently attended the Brazilian Congress, in January in Las Vegas and previously in Chile, Argentina and Mexico.
The ideal patient
The ideal patients for liposculpture are those who have moderated overweight with good health, elastic skin, good muscular tone, with fat accumulation that are resistant to diet and physical exercise. The best results are made on patients under 45 years old with non or little cutaneous relaxation witch a realistic expectative.Techniques:
1. Liposculpture
It’s a surgical technique that is mean to eliminate the fat cumulus that deform the corporal shape in the patient with moderated overweight that don’t respond to diet or physic exercise. At the main time it serves to remodel the body implanting fat on hollow zones, making a truly corporal sculpture. Liposuction Types::1. Located Liposuction: (Located Lipodystrophy) This treatment is made on the pacient abdomen and hips sucking the intermediate and superficial fat.
2. Generalized Liposuction: (Generalized lipodystrophy)We perform seasons untill we obtain the desired resut(abdomen, hip, arms and thighs adiposity).
3. Lipoimplant: Consist on grafting small or big fat volumes on any part of the body, the face, gluteous or legs, with the goal to improve the body contour. It doesnt give any rejection or alergic reaction because is the fat of the patient himself.
4. Tridimensional Superficial Liposuction: Introduced by Marco Gasparotti from Italy, its used in chest, limbs, buttocks, hips and thighs area to obtain an acceptable cutaneous retraction. When there is cutaneous laxity, associated to numerous striations, liposuction results could not be the best, in this cases combination of others techniques are necessary.
2. Basic Modalities of the Lipoimplant:
1. Facial Lipoimplant: Facial Rejuvenation through fat graft. It can be done to give more size to the cheekbones, chin or jaw. It can also correct hallow cheeks.2. Buttocks Liposculpture: Its made while the Posterior Contour Surgery is being done, injecting fat in the buttocks and hallow hip zones giving the optimal volume to the body.
3. Thighs and calf Lipoimplant: The unaesthetic hallows that some women have on the inside of their thighs or in the knees can be treated with lipoimplant, remodeling it with fat graft.
3. Tumescent Technique
Invented by Klein in california in 1985, consist in a subcutean anaesthetic inyection with a saline solution and adrenalin, both have 2 important efects: anaesthetic and hemosthatic. This technique is asociated with other techniques the surgeon should know. Knowing the Abdominal topographic anatomy, a fine, meticulous and atraumatic technique, he will execute it following an established protocol so we can obtain high quality results. This way we will see an improvement in your body contour with less complications, a favorable evolution and a recovery time of 1 or 2 weeks. This Tumescent Technique with the pass of time has evolutioned and been perfected with other types of surgeries like face lifting, arms lifting, gynecomastia etc.
In the Specialized Clinic of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery San Miguel, Dr Walter Rodriguez use Dr. Pierre Founier’s technique and the anesthesia consist in sedation plus local anesthesia (Klein solution): Tumescente Technique controlled by an specialized anesthesiologist. This is a modern technique that respects the security threshold. The patient is put on observation from 6 to 24 hours on the recovery room.
Post-Surgery: It’s critical to maintain rest for 24 to 48 hours. Later, the use of lymphatic drain and elastic net on the first week. Subsequently an ultrasound massage by a specialist.
